P&O to offer wedding bliss with Ceremonies at sea

P&O are now making their cruises even more romantic by introducing the new 'Ceremonies at sea'.
With many of their passengers already celebrating Honeymoons / Anniversaries on board I think this will go down very well.
The programme will include wedding services, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals on the Four ships under Carnival Australia.

The package will look after the photographers, the flowers, and even private post-wedding dinners in their fine dining restaurants.Wedding ceremonies will be available in port in Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Fremantle and Auckland on the day of embarkation  and will be performed by a celebrant. Meanwhile vow renewals and commitment ceremonies will be performed at sea by the Captain or a senior officer.

Hurricane Earl threatens cruises on the East coast of the US

Hurricane Earl is heading for the eastern coast of the US after causing power cuts and heavy rain across the Eastern Caribbean.
  

The now category 4 storm is already generating winds of 135mph and could be the worst storm in some 20 years on the East Coast, according to various media reports.


For cruisers in the Caribbean it has meant itinerary changes for Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line.

Royal Caribbean defend their choice for Chef....

Further to my Blog I did about Royal Caribbean in the search for a new Chef for their new ship 'The Allure of the seas' I can confirm it has gone down a storm.
There was some speculation before when they hired an up and coming Chef to run the chicest restaurant aboard the Oasis of the seas - 150 Central Park. Whilst most cruise lines have 'Celebrity Chef resaurants' on board; Royal Caribbean are wanting to do something different. With the Celebrity Restaurants it is very rare that they are actually on board cooking where as passengers want to see the chef that created their dinner out in the dining room greeting them.
